Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of flank steak

Marinade:

  • 1/2 tablespoon of crushed garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of celery seed
  • 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of prepared horseradish
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 cup of vegetable juice (V-8) or Bloody Mary mix
  • 1/2 cup of vodka
  • 1 teaspoon of sea salt

Instructions

Firstly Thoroughly mix all the marinade ingredients in a 1-gallon zip-top bag. Add the flank steak. Then marinate in the refrigerator for at least 8 and up to 24 hours.

Then preheat the grill to high or heat a skillet over high heat. Remove the flank steak from the marinade and wipe the excess liquid off with paper towels. Then grill or pan sear both sides, and lower heat to medium then cook to medium rare.

Let the flank steak rest, covered, with a clean towel for 6 to 11 minutes. Then cut on the bias against the grain and serve. Enjoy!
