Spaghetti Recipe with Meat Sauce

Taste more like restaurant-style Spaghetti Bolognese. If the meat sauce seems to be too acidic, then feel free to add a pinch of sugar. You can even sprinkle the dish with some shredded coconut as well.

Directions
For Sauce:
1. First, over medium-high heat in a large pot or Dutch oven, heat up the oil until hot.

Once done; add and cook the meat for 6 to 8 minutes, until browned. As you cook the meat cook; don’t forget to break it up into small crumbles using a large wooden spoon.

2. Next, add and cook the onions for a couple of minutes, until softened, stirring frequently.

3. Stir in the garlic followed by tomato paste, red pepper flakes, and oregano; continue to cook the ingredients for a minute more, stirring continuously.

4. Add water and scrape up any bits of onion or meat stuck to the bottom of your pot using a wooden spoon.

Next, add the tomatoes followed by a generous pinch of black pepper & ¾ teaspoon of salt; giving the ingredients a good stir. Bring the sauce to a low simmer.

Continue to cook the ingredients for 20 to 25 more minutes, at a low simmer, uncovered. Taste the sauce & feel free to adjust the seasoning, as required.

For Spaghetti

1. Fill a large pot with salted water approximately 12 to 15 minutes before the sauce is done and bring it to a boil, over moderate heat. Once done; prepare the pasta per the Directions mentioned on the package; drain well.

To Finish
1. Once you are done with the sauce; remove it from the heat & stir in the basil

Next, gently toss in the drained pasta & continue to cook until the pasta absorbs some of the sauce, for a minute more; toss it again for the last time. Serve immediately; sprinkled with parmesan. Enjoy.
