Christmas Rose Cookies Recipe Quick and easy recipe! My soft, super moist cookies are an incredibly easy-to-make holiday cookie that's also incredibly delicious!

Rose Cookies Ingredients

  • 1 cup Ricotta or farmer's cheese 250 g
  • 2 cups all sifted flour -280 g
  • 1 tsp baking powder-5 g
  • 1/2 cup sugar-100 g
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract-5 ml
  • 1/2 cup room temp butter-110 g
  • 1/8 tsp salt-3 g
  • 2 egg yolks room temp

Instructions for Rose Cookies Recipe

Preheat your oven to 350 F/180 C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.

In the bowl add softened butter, sugar, vanilla, 2 egg yolks, and salt and beat for 2 minutes.

Add Ricotta or Farmer's cheese and mix.

Add flour and baking powder and knead for 3 minutes.

On a lightly floured surface, divide the dough into 3 pieces.

Roll each piece into a 10-inch circle/25 cm, using a glass cut 7 cm/3 inches round pieces.

Arrange 4 circles one by one. The circles should not get detached from one another. Now start folding the small rounds from one end to the other, like you roll the newspaper. You will see the rose petals are formed. Cut the roll in between so that you will get the two roses. Seal the edges of the rose.

Place them on the baking sheet and bake them for 21 to 26 minutes. Let them cool. Enjoy!
