Easy Cheese Crisps Recipe

Cheese Crisps

Cheese Crisps recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • Shredded cheese of your choice
  • Seasoning of choice (optional)

Directions

Shred or crumble your own cheese if possible. Pre-shredded cheese won’t melt as well due to the nonstick agents that are added.

While shredding the cheese, preheat a griddle to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

Place handfuls of the cheese on the griddle, with a little space in between each one. Let each crisp melt until the edges are brown, then turn each one over.

They will be easy to turn when they are brown enough. If you try to turn them too soon, they will stick to the griddle.

After you turn each crisp, let the side that is down get brown, then remove the crisps from the heat and drain them on paper towels.

For added flavor, sprinkle them while they’re still warm with your favorite seasoning. These are the perfect accompaniment for soups or salads and, of course, chili!
