How To Make the Best Steak Bombs Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1 red bell pepper ( thinly sliced )
  • 1 yellow bell pepper ( thinly sliced )
  • 1 large onion or equivalent of smaller onions, (thinly sliced)
  • Pepper and salt, to taste
  • 1 lb of shaved steak
  • 4 slices of provolone cheese (or 1 cup shredded mozzarella)
  • 4 sub rolls, cut to open

Instructions

start by heating a large skillet over medium heat on the stove. And add the olive oil and swirl around the pan to coat.

Add the onions and peppers to the pan. Season lightly with pepper and salt.

Then Cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 to 12 minutes, until they begin to brown. And push the vegetables to one side of the pan.

And add the shaved steak to the pan and season lightly with pepper and salt. Then brown the meat, breaking it apart and flipping it as needed until it’s no longer red. And this will take about 5 to 6 minutes.

Next, mix the cooked meat with the veggies thoroughly. Then taste and season with pepper and additional salt, as desired. Then remove from the pan.

Then with the pan still set on the burner set to medium heat, add enough vegetables and meat back to fill a single sandwich (and add a bit more than you think you need).

Next, top with cheese. Then cover and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, until the cheese is melted.

And use a spatula to transfer the veggies, meat, and cheese to a roll.

Then repeat until all the meat and veggie mixture has been used.
