  • 1 teaspoon of Garlic Powder
  • 2 cups of Cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon of Onion Powder
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup of Flour
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 lbs of Lobster Tails, cleaned in the shell
  • 1 teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper
  • 2 tsp of Oil for deep-frying
  • 1 teaspoon of Paprika


In a gallon-size zip-lock bag, combine the cornmeal, salt, flour, pepper, garlic powder, cayenne, and onion powder. Shake well.

َAnd clean lobster tails while keeping the tail in the shell. Then set aside.

Then heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large, deep skillet such as a cast iron pan. And the oil needs to reach 366 degrees.

Next, place half of the lobster tails in the bag, and shake well to coat the tails completely. Then remove tails, and set them on a rack over a tray to catch any drippings, and keep the work area clean. Then repeat with the remaining tails.

And deep fry one lobster tail at a time in the oil for about 3 to 5 minutes, or until lightly browned. Then let fried tails dry on paper towels. And Enjoy!
