Meatball Sandwiches

Meatball Sandwiches Recipe


  • 4 teaspoons of Perfect Pinch Italian Seasoning, divided
  • 3 teaspoons of Garlic Powder, divided
  • 1 can (8 ounces) of tomato sauce
  • 3 tablespoons of butter, melted
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 package (12 ounces) of refrigerated chicken meatballs, cut in half
  • 1 package of sweet Hawaiian dinner rolls, (12 rolls)


Preheat oven to 350°F. And mix tomato sauce, 3 teaspoons of Italian seasoning, and 1 teaspoon of garlic powder in a large bowl. And add meatballs; then stir to coat in sauce mixture. And set aside.

Remove rolls from the package but do not separate them. Then cut the entire package of rolls in half horizontally, leaving the bottom half slightly thicker than the top half. 

Then place the bottom half of the rolls in the 13×9-inch baking dish, and cut the side up. 

Then layer provolone cheese over the bottom half of the rolls. And top with meatballs then sauce.

After that sprinkle meatballs with mozzarella. Then place the top half of the rolls, cut side down, on top of the mozzarella.

Next mix butter with the remaining spices. And brush the tops of the rolls with the butter mixture.

Then cover with foil. And bake for 26 to 31 minutes or until heated. ENJOY !!
